Tauvia Harrigan, Principal
Meet the Principal
Dear Frost Families,
I am honored to be the principal of Frost Elementary. My background includes obtaining a B.A. in Spanish modified History from Dartmouth College, earning a Masters of Educational Leadership Degree from Grand Canyon University and over three decades of experience as a classroom teacher, a homeschool parent, a school governance council member and a school administrator. My focus is to make school engaging and relevant while empowering students to discover their unique selves, their beauty, their potential and their talents.
My philosophy B-E-A-M-S through all my work as an administrator. For me B-E-A-M-S means that I:
Believe learning should be collaborative, active, relevant and fun;
Emphasize helping myself and others discover talents and abilities, while expanding competencies;
Align people with their passions and purpose though establishing values that connect people across cultural, socio-economic, and racial differences;
Model and champion, integrity, inclusion, innovation and equity;
Strive in word and deed to always empower, enlighten, encourage and inspire.
I look forward to ensuring that Frost is a place that people love to be, where laughter is the norm and where learning is always happening.
